In recognition of the importance and confidentiality of personal data, this notice has been prepared to help beneficiaries understand the nature of the data we collect when accessing the Ministry’s website or its affiliated electronic platforms, and how we handle this personal data. In order to provide the highest levels of service while maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of user data and submitted information, the Ministry is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality and privacy of the information and materials entered as the basis of this privacy notice, and not disclosing them except in accordance with the controls specified and stipulated by applicable regulations.

• Adhering to strict procedures and measures to protect the security of technical information systems to prevent fraud and unauthorized access to the Ministry’s systems.
• Regular and periodic updates of protection procedures and controls that meet or exceed standard benchmarks.
• Maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of personal information of users of the Ministry’s platforms. Access to user information is restricted to authorized personnel and only for purposes and uses defined by the Ministry’s approved policies.

• When a user visits the Ministry’s website or its affiliated electronic platforms, the server automatically records the user’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, the date and time of the visit, and the URL address of any website that referred the user to the Ministry’s portal.
• The Ministry’s website server or its affiliated electronic platforms may also collect relevant personal data, either directly from the individual, from their representative, from a legally authorized guardian, or from another party, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law.

Data Processing

Any data collected through the Ministry’s website or its affiliated electronic platforms may be processed by any means, whether manual or automated, through operations such as collection, recording, preservation, indexing, organization, coordination, storage, modification, updating, integration, retrieval, use, disclosure, transfer, publication, data sharing or linking, restriction, deletion, destruction, and other processes, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law.

Data Sharing

Non-identifiable personal data of visitors and users of the Ministry’s website or other electronic platforms may be shared as part of aggregated statistical data and indicators with relevant entities, in accordance with the key principles and general rules for data sharing issued by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

Acceptance of the Privacy Notice

The user’s visit to the Ministry’s website and its affiliated platforms constitutes acceptance of this notice.

General Provisions

• The Ministry reserves the right to make amendments to this privacy notice from time to time without prior notification.
• Your continued use of the website and electronic platforms after such amendments constitutes acceptance of them. Users are encouraged to review the privacy notice periodically to ensure awareness of the latest version.
• The Ministry complies with the provisions of the National Data Governance Policy regarding data sharing and personal data protection issued by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).
• The laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shall be the only laws applicable to any disputes arising from the use of this website.
• The courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shall have exclusive jurisdiction to consider and adjudicate such disputes.
