May the municipality cancel the contract before the end of the lease/investment period?
Yes. The municipality may, with the approval of the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, cancel the contract before the end of the lease or investment period for reasons related to the public interest, after notifying the lessee or investor and allowing a period of three months from the date of notification.
