The Saudi German Hospital in Makkah was inaugurated in 2022, becoming the eighth branch within the Kingdom. The hospital is located in Al-Wali Al-Ahd District, with a capacity of 300 beds and 100 outpatient clinics, covering an area of approximately 57,000 square meters.
It represents a significant advancement in healthcare services in the region, serving the residents of Makkah and the guests of Allah, including Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
The hospital is equipped with the latest technologies and medical equipment and includes various medical specialties, providing advanced, high-quality healthcare in accordance with international standards.
The hospital has successfully provided medical services to more than half a million outpatient visitors and over one hundred thousand inpatients across various departments, reflecting the level of trust it has gained and the efficiency of its medical services.
Since its establishment, the hospital has received several local and international accreditations, most notably accreditation from the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) for private hospitals, Australian accreditation, and accreditation from the International Cardiology Association, in addition to specialized accreditations for emergency, intensive care, and laboratory departments as centers of excellence.
The hospital also played an active role during Hajj seasons by establishing medical clinics within the holy sites to provide urgent healthcare to pilgrims. Additionally, it formed medical partnerships and collaborations with health missions from more than twenty countries to ensure the delivery of healthcare services to pilgrims at their locations within the holy sites.
